Thanks to this investment, annual sulfur dioxide emissions from the power plant will be reduced by as much as 30 times, and powdery substances will be reduced to the European standards.<br><br>The project is based on the wet desulfurization method. The lime milk solvent is sprayed in absorbers-scrubbers to take in the SO2 from flue gas, resulting in the creation of gypsum.
