Elevated bilirubin levels, known as neonatal jaundice, are a common condition in infants that requires monitoring and, in cases of very high values, treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transcutaneous bilirubin meter reduces the need for blood sampling to test for hyperbilirubinemia, which means less discomfort for newborns caused by the use of needles.
