Following the successful completion of the first phase of a turnkey cleanroom project for the pharmaceutical company Remedica in Cyprus, we continued our collaboration through the implementation of the second phase.
The total planned area of the facility in Limassol, Cyprus, is 1,000 mยฒ, with the second phase covering approximately 600 mยฒ. Although the second phase was not significantly different in size from the first, the complexity of the installations, the coordination of various technical systems, and the requirements related to process equipment made this phase considerably more demanding.
The primary objective of the project was to create all the necessary conditions for the installation and operation of process equipment for sugar and film coating. This required the coordination of a wide range of systems – from cleanrooms and HVAC systems, through UV lighting and process piping, to the installation of the process equipment itself, as well as systems for washing and drying raw-material containers. Every detail had to be carefully planned and coordinated to ensure the required operating conditions for both the equipment and the production process.
The following companies from the EuroCons Group were involved in the project:
๐น Biro Plus – complete architectural and engineering design of the facilities, including the design of steel platforms supporting the technical installations
๐น LAB PROVA – testing, verification and validation of the completed systems, as well as the preparation of validation protocols and accompanying documentation
๐น ECG (Engineering Department) – execution and coordination of all civil, HVAC, electrical and mechanical works
๐น Darnico โ installation of process equipment.

For us, the second phase was more than simply a continuation of the previous project. It was an opportunity to further demonstrate the EuroCons Groupโs ability to deliver increasingly complex technical solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
