EuroCons Group is particularly proud to be part of desulphurization projects at thermal power plants in the region that are of great importance for the protection of the environment and human health.
Recently, a desulfurization system was put into operation at the thermal power plant TENT A (Obrenovac, Serbia). Thanks to this investment, annual sulfur dioxide emissions from the power plant will be reduced by as much as 30 times, and powdery substances will be reduced to the European standards.
The project is based on the wet desulfurization method. The lime milk solvent is sprayed in absorbers-scrubbers to take in the SO2 from flue gas, resulting in the creation of gypsum. Gypsum, as a by-product, will be used in the construction industry, in accordance with the principles of the circular economy.
Our company delivered the valves produced by InterApp Group and GEMร Group, which were installed on the lines for gypsum slurry, as well as for other process fluids (water, steam, air).
