Employees of EuroCons Group enjoyed a visit to the Nikola Tesla Museum with their family members.
The scale of Tesla’s works and ideas was brought to life for us by Senior Curator Bratislav Stojiljković. We also learned that a cat played an important role in sparking the three-year-old Tesla’s interest in electricity, why Tesla used Columbus’ egg for an experiment, how he tore up a lucrative contract to save the Westinghouse company, and much more. Therefore, we highly recommend everyone visit this remarkable museum
On this occasion, we also recalled that, EuroCons Group, led by our colleague Nebojsa Vasilev, conducted air quality testing and monitoring at the Nikola Tesla Museum from April to November 2024.
Air quality in museums is important for the comfort of employees and visitors, but above all for the proper preservation of museum artifacts.
This was the first multidisciplinary research of this kind in Serbia. During the air quality measurements at the Nikola Tesla Museum, we joined forces with the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade, which conducted a mycological analysis of the air in parallel with our particulate matter analysis. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering conducted air analysis in the museum’s storage, and the National Museum shared specific knowledge on regulating temperature and humidity in museum spaces.
Monitoring and measuring air quality provides a basis for improving air filtration according to the obtained parameters.
