We are especially proud of desulfurization projects with thermal power plants in the region, which are of great importance for the protection of the environment and human health. Projects Tent A and Tent B (Obrenovac, Serbia) reduce considerably the emission of sulfur dioxide from both power plants by 96%. That would help Serbia to a great extent in fulfilling EU requirements in connection with harmful emissions from coal-fired thermal power plants. And most importantly, it would provide healthier air for people.
Together with our partners we raise awareness of indoor and outdoor air pollution and try hard to offer the solutions providing air quality in accordance with the latest standards and in an energy-efficient manner.
EuroCons Group is committed to the community where it does business. It is displayed through the donations given out to hospitals, schools and events of importance for the development of culture and sports.
EuroCons Group is proud of its role in the development of the economy of the local community and not only through its business. By securing the investment location, in cooperation with the Development Agency of Serbia we have brought the first Czech greenfield investment to Serbia, the IMG Manufacturing, a factory for production of plastic goods. Now we are moving on and looking for the next investor within our investment locations.
A part of EuroCons Logistic Center in Vrsac is covered with solar panels, which meet over 90% needs for annual consumption of the facility with an area 6000 m2.
